Nature’s prime favourites were the Pelicans;
High-fed, long-lived, and sociable and free. James Montgomery
This is a cute Boomerang shot of the pelicans ๐๐ผ
San Remo is the entrance to the seaside town of Phillip Island. Every day at 12 noon, the local pelicans arrive at the San Remo pier for their lunch time feed. For about 30 minutes young and old alike flock to the jetty to get up close and personal to these wonderful creatures. This is for Friendly Friday Photo Challenge – Shadow and for Which Way Photo Challenge
These pelicans are wild birds so people are not allowed to go very near them especially the kids as they might nibble on your fingers.
I rather like the thought of pelicans… so much so that I call our local cormorants pelicans!
Yes… sad, I know… I live where pelicans don’t dare to go! Too cold… alas!
Anyway… I wait for the day that I can see a real pelican strutting her stuff!
Also – Thanks for following OMBH… I do hope you get a smile or three when you call around!
