My daughter was gone for three weeks on a business trip to NYC. She came back last Thursday … So last Saturday, my husband and I went to her place for a catch up. Saw these fresh cut flowers on her dining table and noticed how gorgeous the blooms were. This is an Australian native flower known as the Waratah. It is an ideal cut flower because it lasts long, but it does not have much of a scent.
It is perfect for Sunshine’s Macro Monday – Waratah Flowers and for Cee’s FOTD Challenge – Red Waratah Natives
Nice! Take care and thank you for visiting and following.

Love the way you presented them as pulling back from a zoom close-up. 🙂
These were the flowers i was talking about that looked like my yellow leucospermum a while back! 🙂
