Monochrome November in Prague

“Prague does not have its name for no reason – in truth,
Prague is a threshold between the life on Earth
and Heaven, a threshold much thinner and narrower then in any other places…”
 Gustav Meyrink

As you can see in my posts, I really, really love Prague.

Whether in colour or in monochrome

Prague is simply marvellous.

Our first day in Prague was overcast

so my husband and I were a bit disappointed

No colour in the sky and no clouds can be see

But we did not think that our three days in Prague

Will be three days that the yellow of the sun didn’t even come out.

But I guess there’s a certain beauty in this kind of weather.

We were able to enjoy the city’s dusky glow

Over the picturesque spires

On the cobblestone lanes

While leisurely walking over the Vltava

To watch the swans slowly passing by.

Ah Prague in November!

This is for the monochrome challenge
