Come Follow Me…

This is for Amy’s Lens Artist Photo Challenge – Home…there are so many things that came to my mind when I saw that prompt. Yes, it is a place where I am most comfortable living, but it is also this warm feeling that I get when I go to a certain place … or the happiness that I feel when in the company of special people … or the misty eyes that I get from memories.

So come, follow me to my home…

Let me start off with my special place in my house where I can put up my feet and relax… Take my ipad with me and have a cup of coffee…

Home is the aroma of freshly baked bread and because of “isolation” I have acquired a new love for kneading dough.

Home is my small garden which gives me so much joy with its pretty blooms.

During this time of social distancing, the wetlands near my house, is my special place where I do my early morning walks. It brings me happiness seeing my feathered friends and beautifully coloured trees.

Wonderful memories also take me back home … to family in the Philippines, to my son and daughter who are both away from me right now and friends who are like family. Though apart, they are forever in my mind and heart.

At the end of the day, HOME is, as the saying goes…”Home is where the heart is.”

  6. Your home is a beautiful place – and lucky you to have the wetlands for walks too. A lovely post – wonder when WP will conjure up smell and taste …? But it is almost enough to look at your bakings…delicious.
