Some yellows from all over the world. Yellow doors in Notting Hill, Yellow House in Budapest, Yellow Souvenir Shop in Szentendre near Budapest, Riverside Bank in Prague, the lovely Royal Brunei aircraft, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge and a wonderful texture of a building in Verona, Italy.

I remember as a child I would be teased for happily claiming that yellow is my favourite colour, with the stupid rhyme, ‘Yellow yellow dirty fellow’ chanted obnoxiously at me but I have remained faithful to the colour; the warmth, the brightness of yellow just fills me up with joy. 🙂

A wonderful cornucopia of yellow photos for the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge prompt, Teresa. I think I remember that house in Verona. So striking. The Notting hill house also caught my eye. I love how you described the characteristics of yellow – closest to light. Maybe that is why we feel it makes us happy when we see it in nature?
