“The garden suggests there might be a place where we can meet nature halfway.” – Michael Pollan
It was a long weekend here in Australia and this is what Australians do … go and have long drives, have a weekend away with friends, eat out with family…
My husband and Some friends went to the Dandenong Mountains and we went to the George Tindale Gardens in Sherbrook, Victoria.
And this is what I did…look for weird looking plants haha Does anyone know what it is?
This is for Cee’s FOTD Challenge – A Weird Looking Plant

I knew somebody would know. Thanks to Albatz Travel Adventures, this plant is the Arum Italicum also known as Italian Arum and Italian Lords-and-Ladies
Weird indeed. Is this poisonous?

I thinks it’s a plant called ‘Lords and Ladies’ or Arum italicum. By July bright orangy-red berry spikes appear, resulting in its other name: Italian Candlestick. This one is in the process of losing its berries.
