The Seats in Bunjil Place

“Everything you can imagine is real.”– Pablo Picasso

This is Bunjil Place, an entertainment precinct in Melbourne’s south east. What makes it unique is its striking architecture. Its rooftop is resembling a soaring eagle’s wings and the timber grid that goes into the foyer is its legs.

It is something to be proud of, because there is no other building in the vicinity quite like it. Its interior is very spacious with its studio, gallery, theatre, library, function rooms and cafe. The exterior is vast and family friendly with an outdoor plaza where people can meet up to watch a movie on the big screen or where the kids can play on the water fountain, especially on warmer days.

Today I am featuring the library of Bunjil Place. The door opens wide to a welcoming place. This is for Xingfumama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge- Seats in Bunjil Place

It has steps where people can sit comfortably or have a friendly game of chess.

A view from the top.

Samples of the different kinds of chairs available.

The kids corner.

Outdoor chairs.

There are bean bags in the plaza where you can sit comfortably as a community to watch a family movie or even international sporting events.
