12 photos for 12 months

“The best things in life are the people you love, the places you’ve seen and the memories you’ve made along the way.” – unknown

It is nearly the end of 2019 and oh how time flies. I will be having a short break for this busy time of the year but before that I want to share this post that is based on a fellow bloggers’ idea.

I saw this post from Tanja, 12 photos for 12 months, and thought that it would be a great idea to do the same (you can view Tanja’s 12 months here).

Now I am sharing my 12 months and some links for challenges that it originated from, (please click on the link below the photos for my full blogs) … hope you enjoy with me … reminiscing.

JANUARY

This was from my very first post when I went to Sydney, Australia. And this is where my blogging journey began. You can see the Three Sisters, a towering sandstone formation.

FEBRUARY

This is a place in the Dandenong Mountains. I often go there for a walk and usually you will find lots of people but this time it was so peaceful.

I started to join challenges but didn’t know how to do pingbacks then, so this one had none. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

MARCH

A view from the top of the tiled roof of St Stephens’s Cathedral in Vienna, Austria. It is well known for its colourful roof tiles. I happened to go up the elevator and see the whole city from a different point of viewโ€ฆand it was amazing! Photo taken in 2018.

APRIL

This is in response to a monochrome challenge. As you can see in my posts, I really, really love Prague, whether in colour or in monochrome.

MAY

This is for Nancy Merrill’s A Photo a Week Challenge This was taken in Sassafras, an attractive village located in the scenic Dandenong Ranges.

This is for Norm’s weekly Doors Challenge. Carcassonne is a hilltop town in southern France which is famous for its medieval citadel called La Cite, which has numerous towers and defensive walls.

JULY

We were in Toledo only for a day trip from Toledo so we really didnโ€™t have time to explore the outskirts. But from the little we saw, it was already quite impressive.

AUGUST

Amboise is a small town in central France which lies on the banks of the Loire River. It is such a beautiful place of castles, old towns, villages and views of the river.

OCTOBER

Reminiscing to an Ilocos trip in 2016. Here are some of the benches that can be seen on the grounds of the Paoay Church, Ilocos, Philippines

This is for Xingfumamaโ€™s Pull Up a Seat Challenge- Seats of Paoay Church in the Philippines.

NOVEMBER

I love the colour white. Although it is not as happy as yellow or as bright as redโ€ฆ it gives me a soothing, calm, fresh, pure and clean feeling.

Here are some white flowers for Ceeโ€™s FOTD Challenge โ€“ White Flowers and for Ceeโ€™s Fun Foto Challenge โ€“ CFFC Whites Around the World

    1. JT, those photos were taken in a span of a few years time. But those were posts from the past year as I have just started blogging last January 2019. Thanks for the comment.

  1. Hi TCAST – wow, you really get around. I think my favorite is the last one. It looks like a scene from a biblical movie. Also the one in France, Amboise? I’d love to see that in person. Love your blog.
