“Behind every mask there is a face, and behind that a story.” – Marty Rubin
Venetian masks are very popular in Venice, not only during the ‘Carnival of Venice’, which is an annual festival held in Venice, Italy, but it is also used in many other occasions. These masks are characterised by elaborate, ornate designs and has been a tradition dating back hundreds of years.
I want to share here some masks which were on sale in the streets of Venice and some in the shops in Burano and I have filled the frame to see more of the mask’s details.
This is for Patti’s Lens Artists Photo challenge -Filling the Frame – Venetian Masks
Could use these in Hong Kong!
