Falling Leaves

“Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year.” – Chad Sugg

November is not my usual choice of month to travel primarilly because it is too cold (if destination is Europe). But so glad my husband and I decided to do it last year, as we were just in time to see the leaves changing its colour.

Travelling to Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and United Kingdom during this month meant fewer crowds, shorter queues, no sweating and a bonus of a spectacular display of the autumn foliage.

This is in response to Franks’s Tuesday Photo Challenge – Falling Leaves and Amanda’s Friendly Friday Photo Challenge – Falling Leaves

Prague, Czech Republic

Weather was a bit gloomy but the colour of the leaves brightened our days.

Vienna, Austria

It was sunny all throughout our stay there.

Bratislava, Slovakia

Esztergom, Hungary

Budapest, Hungary

Stayed in Budapest for 5 days and the sun was shining brightly. Only on our last day did it pour and pour.

London, UK

Stayed in London for 2 weeks and autumn weather was, true to what they say, the rainiest season.
