“This heart of mine was made to travel.” – travel quotes
Chateau Royal d’Amboise, in Loire Valley, is a maze of secret passages, medieval rooms and hidden walk ways. This castle has a throne room, royal interiors, towers, sturdy wooden doors, wooden benches and magnificent gardens.
In relation to my previous post about Amboise, here are some doors for Norm’s Challenge – Thursday Doors in Amboise and for Xingfumama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge.
This is a view of the chateau from the street.
Some benches on the way up the castle and on the walls are some shields. I found it interesting, so I am enlarging it for you.
Here is a door in the garden of the Royal Chateau de Amboise.
Some doors inside the castle of Amboise.
Some royal chairs inside the medieval rooms.
Some doors outside the Chateau overlooking the Loire.
And some benches and doors and windows.
This is the way out into the garden.
Gorgeous place! I liked the brick walk way a lot! Thanks for showing us all around. 🙂
