Wedding Smiles

Last November I visited London for the second time…this time it’s for my son’s wedding. Tim and Leigh were ‘high school sweethearts’, went to the same school, were partners in their Debutante’s Ball, and they had been together ever since.

They had a simple and intimate wedding and that’s how they had always envisioned their wedding to be.

Weddings are always the time to be happy, to celebrate and to smile. Here is for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – SMILES and Nancy Merrill’s A Photo a Week Challenge – Smile for this week.

Part One – the Ceremony

Tim and Leigh had their ceremony at the Islington Town Hall. In attendance were some of their High School friends (yes they are still very close friends up to now), family and some of their work mates.

After the ceremony, all the guests just walked home with them.

Part 2 – the Reception

Reception followed at their place. Cake was beautifully made by their friend Mariel, food was prepared by Tim and Leigh themselves, and I cooked 3 Filipino desserts. Most of the guests didn’t even know what the desserts were but it was finished by the end of the day. (Well, that’s a good sign wasn’t it?)

Part 3 – the After Party

Then off to the local pub. Congrats again to the both of you. Mum, Paps and Tish loves you so much.

Some happy, smiling shots before going home.
