It is sad to think that one of the most iconic structures in the world is now destroyed, as the Notre Dame was engulfed in flames. The fire is now contained but there is still so much to be done to repair it. Luckily, some of the statues around the cathedral and inside it were removed last week because of reconstructions being done, so they are offsite.
