Wanderlust @22 Churches and Cathedrals of Prague

“The ancient splendor and beauty of Prague, a city beyond compare, left an impression on my imagination that will never fade.”-unknown

Prague, the capital of Czech Republic, is so grand and magical with its churches, cathedrals, church domes and golden tipped towers…why else would it be called the ‘city of a hundred spires’.

I wasn’t able to see all of them but I have here a compilation of some of the churches that I was priveleged enough to see.

ST VITUS CATHEDRAL is located in the Prague Castle.

CHURCH OF OUR LADY BEFORE TYN is a dominant site in the Old Town.

There’s a ST NICHOLAS CHURCH in the Old Town

and another ST NICHOLAS CHURCH in Mala Strana (Lesser Town).

ST SALVATOR CHURCH at Charles Bridge.

ST GEORGE’S BASILICA in the Prague Castle

CATHEDRAL OF ST LAWRENCE in Petrin Hill

ST JOHN NEPOMUCENE in the Prague Castle District

There are lots more churches that i’ve seen but just didn’t get to know what their names are. Do you have anything to add to this list?
