Left London via Gatwick Airport.
My husband and I arrived at Prague Airport at 5:15 in the afternoon. It was already so dark since it was November. We were planning to get an Uber but couldn’t find one…and the easier alternative was to get a cab for €16. (when I did my research it was only €9 for an Uber… but oh well)
The good thing is, the cab driver was very accommodating and he told us where to go and where to eat at this time of the night. So we just walked and walked and walked ….. and walked and walked.
In the next 2 photos you can see the Prague castle from afar. It may not be clear but… it is there, trust me! 😂
We also saw the iconic Dancing House also known as the Fred and Ginger House. It was so beautiful at night!
Another view… this is the worm’s eye view of the Dancing House.
Our first dinner in Prague is the traditional Czech dish Prazdroj Beef Goulash. This is baked homemade potato pancakes (leavened bread dumplings), which we had at Tradice. A pub near our hotel and which was recommended by our taxi driver.
We didn’t know how to take public transport yet, so best option was to walk. It was good weather so walking was really quite enjoyable.
