“The use of travelling is to regulate imagination with reality, and instead of thinking of how things may be, see them as they are.” – Samuel Johnson
Historical Buildings, great architecture, amazing churches, wonderful doors, a trip to the past… all of these can be seen and done in Toledo, Spain.
Toledo is the old Spanish capital, before Madrid.
This is my entry to Norm’s Weekly Thursday Doors Challenge – Toledo Doors
Photo below is the Archbishop’s Palace and this is one of Toledo’s architectural achievements.
This is an antique shop.
Walking around Toledo, I didn’t quite catch what this door is.
I think this is the Sacristy of the Toledo Cathedral.
Passed by these wooden doors.
Wonder what this is? Is it a door for the mouse 🐭 haha
The next two are murals of doors.
Swoon (then repeat)… Love this!

Love that mouse door –
Ha – although I wonder what it was for. Maybe passing important stuff through without having to fully open it up.
Great post …doors and more 😊

Lovely shots. Between the architecture, the history, and the vibrant colours I just have to get to Spain at some point. Thanks for the tour 🙂

You have to, Norm. You will get excited with Spain’s doors. Sad to say I wasn’t into doors yet when we went there 3 years ago and I didn’t have a blog then so I didn’t take shots of doors then.

The Palace is amazing but my favourite is the third photo from the top. Very Moroccan look to it, I think.
