Some Blues Mixed with Pink

“Pink isn’t just a color, it’s an attitude,” – Myley Cyrus

I know that street art is not for everyone. Some may be fed up with the street art that I post week in, week out. But this is my happy place … everywhere I go I try to look for one, or ten! I now have here some pink and blue art pieces for BeckyB’s Blue Squares Challenge and for Nancy Merrill’s Shades of Pink Challenge.

Wiki: Street art is visual art created in public locations, usually unsanctioned artwork executed outside of the context of traditional art venues. Other terms for this type of art include “independent public art”, “post-graffiti”, and “neo-graffiti”, and is closely related to guerrilla art.

Guerrilla art is a street art movement that first emerged in the UK, but has since spread across the world and is now established in most countries that already had developed graffiti scenes.

  1. Wow! I love these! They are not by the same artist, are they? Anyway, whoever it is, they are very talented and you are clever to photograph them. I also like street art, when it’s well done (not just scribbly graffiti).
