Flowers from the Market

“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” – Henri Matisse

Flowers…such a beautiful sight. Some people have green thumbs and their gardens are a delight to see. Some people have a small garden, like me, so flowers bloom far in between. Some people don’t have any backyard or garden at all, so the next best thing to do is buy from the flower market.

  1. One of the things that surprise me about Rome is how many flowers you can buy everywhere at all the times. You’re right – some people are in no position to grow their own. (Oh, just a little correction, please: it’s Manja, not Mahja.)
