“To be in your children’s memories tomorrow, You have to be in their lives today.”―Barbara Johnson
Every time I post, I also find something inspirational that I incorporate with it. Thanks to Cee Neuner , I am able to do this on a regular basis.
Growing up in the Philippines was very different to the way I brought up my kids. My parents were really just parents to me, taking me to school… cooking our meals… praying together… watching black and white TV… That’s their way of showing their love for me but I don’t remember them saying I love you to me. It is not how they do it back then.
This is I, together with my mum and dad and my lola (grandma).
I try to be a good mum, a friend to my 2 kids too. My son lives in London and we try to chat every so often. My daughter lives an hour away on the other side of the city of Melbourne and we try to catch up and have brunch or something every other week.
And as a mum with millennial kids… facetime and chatting is our way of communication! And I tell them I ❤️ them every single day.
You look like a very close family! Very nice to meet you 🙂
